DR. Lindamarie Werntz Coatman

Lindamarie Werntz Coatman is an Executive Coach and Instructor who leverages her experience and partners with her clients to help them enhance their organizational and leadership effectiveness through transformational business challenges. Lindamarie has lived and worked outside the United States throughout her career as an international consultant and human resources executive with Fortune 500 financial services companies and consulting companies including Morgan Stanley, Wachovia and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has built and led multi-cultural teams across diverse talent and organizational development areas. Lindamarie has also been an adjunct faculty member at Pace University and Manhattanville College in New York. 

Lindamarie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been recognized by her peers as an inductee of the YWCA Academy of Women Leaders and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of International Bank Audit and Compliance Professionals, Inc. Lindamarie enjoys traveling with her family and volunteers at Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR) Northeast.

Lindamarie is pursuing a DBA at UNC Charlotte to refine her research skills and assimilate new theories that allow her to appreciate new perspectives, further enhancing her research capabilities. Through her studies, she seeks to create a virtuous cycle that will enhance her effectiveness as a college professor and life-learner. Having experienced disruption (and its intended and unintended consequences) first-hand in the international financial services industry, Lindamarie is acutely aware of the complexities involved in pursuing organizational change strategies. Combining her experience, expertise and her goal of helping others to enhance their capabilities, Lindamarie intends to focus her research on measuring leadership effectiveness and employee engagement with an emphasis on how these indicators can be leveraged to drive sustainable organizational change.
