Enthusiastic about change management and leadership development, Amy chose to continue her professional education through UNC Charlotte’s DBA program after returning to the Queen City in 2021 following several years in the DC metro area. Throughout her career, Amy has passionately led collaborative change initiatives and advocated for mentorship programs to complement existing professional development platforms for all. Several organizations have sought her expertise on mentorship, change leadership, strategic planning, and effective goal setting. Amy is a dynamic public speaker and tireless networker, both in-person and on LinkedIn.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was a student-athlete on the university’s first PSAC Championship Women’s Soccer Team. A proud Keystone State native, Amy also holds an MBA from Penn State University. She is a CPA with active licensure in Pennsylvania and reciprocity in North Carolina.

As the COO at Vault Consulting, Amy leads the firm’s strategic initiatives and leadership development programs. She is a board member of the GWSCPA and an active member of the NCACPA and Women’s Impact Fund. 

Although retired from soccer, she remains disciplined and dedicated to her fitness. Amy is working towards her goal of completing a road race in each of the 50 states. She will near the completion of this goal during her time in the DBA program.

This change catalyst is focusing her research interest on change leadership through the perspective of mentoring, motivating, training and empowering others to work in a collaborative group. She will be researching techniques used by organizations to develop/hone employees in the scrutinization of tasks, roles, responsibilities, and organizational structure through a consultant-type lens. Amy will explore evidence that demonstrates how empowering professionals to evaluate their daily schema has cultivated a culture of improvements.
