Alicia M. Thomas currently is a wealth manager at Sagicor Investments in Kingston, Jamaica. Her previous roles include investments client services manager, business development manager and sales manager within the financial services and tourism industries. She also worked as an operational risk consultant at Wells Fargo Bank in Charlotte, NC. Alicia is also the owner of aMarieArt, where she not only paints abstrac art on canvas, but applies her art on other mediums such as area rugs, cups, coasters and jewelry jus to name a few.
Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Mathematics from Queens University of Charlotte, an MBA in Finance from Winthrop University, and a Master of Science in Marketing and Data Analytics from The University of the West Indies.
Alicia is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at UNC Charlotte, as the program would be invaluable in helping achieve her goals of researching and solving numerous management driven problems that exist within the financial sector. Alicia has a research interest in Marketing and Data Analytics theory and application, with relevance for business development, CEOs and decisions in the boardroom.
