Kim Harris is an innovative business professional at Optum (UnitedHealth Group), who is blossoming into a thought leader within the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion workspace.
Kim is utilizing her expansive experiences in continuous improvement and agile-scrum towards developing healthy workplace cultures to support individual and division-level growth, through engagement and behavior change. Kim's aim is to influence thought-patterns within recruitment and retention, talent development, and leadership. While aiming to expand sensible business practices, Kim is also positioning herself into becoming a cultural literacy influencer for our society.
Kim earned her baccalaureate degree in Mathematics from Troy University, and her master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Health Informatics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Kim enjoys participating in recreational activities, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her general research interests surround the areas of operations management and entrepreneurship.
