Kim earned her baccalaureate degree in Mathematics from Troy University, and her master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Health Informatics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is currently the Operations Specialist for Optum Data Science University. Kim is responsible for guiding transformational initiatives in business operations, marketing, and communications. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, and participating in recreational activities. Kim has a multi-fold goal in pursuing the DBA. In the onset, she aspires to become more knowledgeable in incorporating evidence- based practices into current business practices, while preparing for a future in academia. Eventually, she’s aiming to advance the knowledge of others in approaching practical business challenges, by sharing her experiences and insights from the field.
Kim’s general research interests are within the combinative practices of operations management and marketing. She’s positioning herself to contribute to research, intellect, and sensible business practices for our society.
