Irene Nelson earned her undergraduate degree from UNC Charlotte and an MBA/Master of Science in Leadership dual degree from Pfeiffer University.
Ms. Nelson is an organizational consultant professional who provides business consultation to small and mid-sized organizations ensuring that businesses remain compliant with oversight bodies as well as take advantage of available resources for sustenance, growth and development.
She has extensive experience in the financial services industry including capital management, capital markets and risk management.
Ms. Nelson enjoys traveling and attending the theatre.
She is pursuing the DBA to enhance and expand the level of consultation expertise she can provide to organizations and organizational leaders. Mindful that leaders are connected to their organizations and that one small pivot can change the trajectory of an organization and an organizational leader, the health of both are vital for optimal performance.
Her research interests include methods to mitigate risks associated with leadership burnout and the impact on the organization.
