A Solution Architect for Badger Meter that supports utility customers during both the sales and project implementation stages. Integral to the Solution Architect role is the development of the right metering solution and the meter reading technology for each utility that will meet and exceed its goals and objectives. Craig Cardella obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Mercer University. Also, certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®). Prior to joining Badger Meter in 2010, he worked in the fields of engineering and sales at the following companies: Northern Telecom, Inc.; Mitsubishi Semiconductor, Inc.; and Eaton Corporation. Craig was awarded the 2017 “Eastern Region Team Excellence Award.” He is also an avid tennis player and enjoys all outdoor activities. Pursuing the DBA was a decision he made to grow personally and professionally in the private and academic sector.
Craig’s current interest is in researching requirements to aid in implementing Smart City solutions and learn more effective Project Management techniques. He hopes to learn more about analytic tools and new management techniques and share his experiences on an academic level. He is hoping to broaden his knowledge through exposure to new ideas and topics.
